"Nine Precursors to a Downward Trending Market" was the title of a recent report, and Las Vegas has at least 8 of them. But you should also look at the other side of the story. Fuel prices, which are a major cause of inflation, have stabilized and started to go down. Mortgage rates, which were almost at 6% and are now in the high fours, have also started to go down. Add to that the fact that a recent report on the job market showed that unemployment was at a record low... Well, this downturn might not last as long as people think it will.
