The Vegas summer rule for anyone who moved here recently or is thinking about relocating. Out the door before 7 am or wait until after 8 pm. The middle hours belong to the AC.

Once you build the rhythm, the early mornings become the best part of the day. Cool air, empty trails, mountain views before the heat sets in.

I rotate through three trails in southwest Vegas that stay under 90 degrees through 9 am and offer real elevation, real views, and enough shade to make it work in July. Nothing miserable, nothing extreme.

Drop MILES below and I will message you the three trails plus the best parking spot at each. Save it for July, August, and September.

The locals' Vegas summer rule. Do anything outside before 9 am or after 8 pm. The middle hours belong to the AC.

This is 7 to 9 am on a patio near UnCommons. Coffee, a laptop, shade, wifi, no Strip noise.

It is the version of Vegas most tourists miss. The version every relocating buyer asks me about during a showing.
