🐾 Ongoing Care: She continues to provide daily care for a feral mother from that colony and is facilitating the rescue of her kittens, who will soon be available for adoption through Homeward Bound.

Building a Future for Rescue:
While Samrina is currently formalizing her own nonprofit, she remains the primary benefactor of her rescue work—funding veterinary care and even building a custom "catio" at her home to provide a safe haven.

Employee Appreciation Day may have been last Friday, but I was out sick — and I couldn’t let the moment pass without recognizing these two incredible women.

Dahlia, my Executive Assistant, keeps everything organized and running smoothly behind the scenes. Braysha, our Receptionist and the creative mind behind our social media, brings so much energy and creativity to the team.

When I’m away, they make sure the business doesn’t burn down — and somehow still manage to bring laughter, positivity, and expertise to everything they do.

More Than Just a Network: Building an Ecosystem of Support.

We spent an incredible day at the U.S.VETS Stand Down & Hiring Fair for the second year in a row, and the energy was inspiring.

Meeting our local veterans and hearing their stories firsthand is a powerful reminder of why we do what we do. From housing barriers to medical and employment challenges, the hurdles are real—but so is the support system in Las Vegas.

One of our biggest takeaways? When it comes to uplifting those who served, there is no competition—only collaboration. It was an honor to network with fellow housing providers, medical experts, and employers all working toward the same goal: dignity and stability for our veterans.
