Wonderful News for Vegas!

The Las Vegas Raiders are giving $25 million to Intermountain Health in the largest philanthropic commitment in franchise history, the organizations announced Monday, to help build Nevada’s first stand-alone children’s hospital.

The gift was led by Raiders owners Mark Davis, Egon Durban and Michael Meldman, each of whom contributed $5 million toward the project. The Raiders organization committed an additional $10 million.

“The Las Vegas Raiders are making our largest philanthropic commitment in franchise history because we are dedicated to building a healthier future for kids in Nevada,” Davis said. “We want this gift to remind children and families that they have our team backing them and that the support of the entire Raider Nation is in their corner.”

Tech investor Richard Haddrill has sold his Las Vegas penthouse for $21 million, setting a new condominium price record for the region. The sale was all inclusive, with everything conveyed from the furniture and artwork down to the silverware. Haddrill, the former CEO of Bally Technologies and Powerhouse Technologies, purchased the residence in 2023 for $9.4 million. The 5 bedroom, 6 bath penthouse spans 4,929 square feet and sits inside The Summit Club, roughly ten miles west of the Strip. Positioned above the newly built clubhouse, it is one of only a small number of residences with that elevated placement, offering sweeping views of the Strip, Red Rock Mountains, and the Tom Fazio designed golf course, along with a wraparound terrace, lap pool, hot tub, outdoor shower, and floor to ceiling glass.
