The U.S. economy added 172,000 nonfarm payroll jobs in May, per the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), roughly doubling the consensus forecast of 80,000. The unemployment rate held steady at 4.3 percent for a third consecutive month, and the labor force participation rate was unchanged at 61.8 percent.

Whom Do You Trust?

Form a feedback group of close, trusted advisers. Pick people whose track record you know and with whom you feel comfortable. Don't monopolize problem solving; synergize it.

You cannot be your own sounding board...seek the input of others.

Key Word: COLLABORATIVE. Do you pull up the drawbridge when faced with a problem , or do you put out a call for help?

Building Standard:

A list of construction materials and finishes that represent what the Tenant Improvement (Finish) Allowance/Work Letter is designed to cover while also serving to establish the landlord’s minimum quality standards with respect to tenant-finished improvements within the building. Examples of standard building items are type and style of doors, lineal feet of partitions, quantity of lights, quality of floor covering, etc.

Southern Nevada’s office inventory decreased by 54,046 SF in Q1 2026, thanks to the conversion of two Henderson office buildings to retail and relatively few new office completions.

• Net absorption was -50,225 SF.

• The office vacancy rate increased to 11.9 percent.

• Sales volume in owner/user and investment sales decreased from Q4 2025 but was up compared to one year ago.
