I wanted to bring to your attention some potential drawbacks of implementing rent control in our community. While it may seem like a beneficial solution at first glance, further examination reveals that it could have negative consequences for both tenants, landlords and the community.

Thank you for considering this perspective.

There are alternatives to making rents affordable and ensuring we have a market that incentivizes continually adding more units as they are needed.
