As a Registered Nurse for many years, I worked hard to master strong communication skills, fine-tuned listening being one of the most important. I developed a strong sense of advocacy and an attitude of servanthood. One of the most important things I learned was the virtue of patience. Patience helped me deal with the inevitable stressors that came with such an important job. It now helps me everyday as I interact with my real estate clients who at times feel frustrated or upset, working through the chaos of a real estate transaction. This skill has helped me deal effectively with other agents, lenders, title companies, and every other party involved in a transaction. It reinforced how important this skill was, when a past client happily told me that ‘patience’ was my middle name! I try to incorporate all of my learned people skills to my daily work as a Realtor. In hiring me to represent you in a real estate transaction, you may rest assured that I will be in constant contact with not only you, but the other agent, the chosen lender, the home inspector, the escrow officer, and any other party pertinent to the transaction. I will review with you every line in every contract or document that you are asked to sign, and question you to be sure you have a full understanding of the language and terms that are being used. I will always provide you with full disclosure because I am a transparency advocate. I know that when I keep you fully updated on the progress, it lessens the anxiety associated with a sale or purchase, and develops the trust and respect that is so important to me. I hope you will allow me to use my knowledge and skills to bring you the results you want in a successful real estate transaction, from contract to closing!
