He also competed in a rigorous promotional testing process which consists of a written exam, a driving course test, and multiple scenario based practical evolutions where they simulate their duties on a fire scene.

Fire Engineers drive and operate the full range of fire apparatus and equipment used by the department. They ensure vehicle and equipment maintenance and readiness; makes routine and emergency repairs; transport firefighting crews safely to fire and emergency scenes; operate firefighting apparatus, pumps, nozzles, hydraulic equipment, etc.

When you’re hosting an open house for potential buyers, you want to make sure your home reflects its best self. But if you’re trying to sell your home, it’s also important to think about how your visitors feel when they’re there.

1. Stick to iced water bottles and finger foods, don’t offer anything that requires silverware, and don’t accidentally encourage a buffet.

2. Fresh-squeezed lemonade, limeade, or, for morning open houses, orange juice.

3. If there are kids on the tour (and there will be), it’s nice to offer a few kid-friendly treats—lollipops, fun-size candy, drink boxes, string cheese, and so on—as families are leaving. This is a good way to stay in the parents’ good graces!

You can help make the process go more smoothly with these 5 tips:

Tip 1: Clean up your space. It’s hard to get a good sense of a property when it’s full of clutter.

Tip 2: Get rid of odors. Whether it’s from pets or from smoke, a pungent smell can be a deterrent for many buyers. Get rid of lingering odors by using baking soda and/or vinegar.

Tip 3: Make small repairs. Even minor problems like a loose doorknob or cracked tiles can negatively impact how people view your home.

Tip 4: Use neutral colors and natural lighting. If possible, paint your walls with neutral colors that will appeal to most people and open up the blinds and curtains to let in natural light.

Here are some key questions to ask on your hunt for a new home 👇
