π¨ BIG news for Las Vegas real estate and honestly, for the whole city. It's been rumored for months, but it looks like it's actually happening. Plans have been approved to install a "LAS VEGAS" sign on the face of Red Rock Canyon, a direct nod to the Hollywood Sign, and a statement that this city is no longer just Vegas... it's the new Hollywood.
With Mark Wahlberg, major studios, and production companies relocating here, the writing has been on the wall (literally, apparently). Red Rock was chosen for its visibility from the 215, its iconic silhouette, and let's be honest, because Vegas doesn't do anything small.
What does this mean for real estate? The west side just got a whole lot more interesting. Summerlin, The Ridges, and communities backing up to Red Rock have been appreciating steadily and this kind of landmark recognition only accelerates that. Buyers who've been on the fence about the southwest valley are going to start paying very close attention.
If you've been thinking about that side of town, let's talk before everyone else catches up.

Oh and by the way, this is not real. Happy April Fool's Day π
