With a heavy heart, I’m sharing that my friend, client, and Veteran, Victor, has passed away. Victor was the kind of man you don’t forget. He was direct, patient, and deeply caring. He made sure his family and friends were taken care of, always.

I’m angry. I’m heartbroken. And I’ll say it plainly: Cancer sucks.

Right now, his family is facing the unthinkable. Grief, unexpected expenses, and an immediate income shift. They are working with the VA, but time is of the essence, and support is needed right now to help lay this Veteran to rest with honor and to bridge the gap for daily needs that don’t stop when life does.

Hey friends — I need TEAM MOLLIE in full force for the next 48 hours! 🐾💛

This is Mollie — my 6.5-year-old Golden Retriever, my service animal, and truly a dog with a job. She was placed in my life to help keep me safe… and she has done exactly that.

Most people think I’m “afraid of heights” — I’m not. I’ve had severe vertigo since birth, and Mollie is the reason I can move through life with more confidence and safety. When I pass out, she protects me. When anxiety hits, she grounds me. She knows when my body is struggling (migraines + joint issues make standing tough sometimes), and she steps in like the professional she is. 🫶

And here’s the part that melts me: Mollie has a whole second family — Veterans around the world. I swear she can sniff them out like, “Oh… you’re one of ours.” 🇺🇸🐶
