The luxury housing market isn’t simply outperforming the broader market. Increasingly, it’s operating by an entirely different set of rules.

Barron’s recently called it the “Mansion Economy,” reporting on extraordinary demand at the highest end of the U.S. housing market, where $10 million is becoming less of a ceiling and more of an entry point in many of the country’s traditional luxury markets.
