Are the Scales Tipping Toward Buyers? Reports Say Maybe
Interesting shifts are emerging in the real estate landscape, and recent numbers highlight just how dynamic our market has become. In August, seller concessions rose to 44.7%—the highest we’ve seen since 2020. This uptick suggests that as demand builds and the lock-in effect weakens, sellers are making more adjustments. Delistings dropped by 12.6% compared to last year, and notably, 15.8% of sales included both price reductions and concessions. The Sun Belt is leading the way in these trends, with Atlanta seeing an impressive 72.8%. Having worked in both residential and commercial markets in Las Vegas and Henderson since 2002, I’m closely watching these patterns to help my clients make strategic moves—whether you’re considering a sale, a purchase, or a lease.
