Yesterday, The Animal Foundation took in 142 animals❗

The shelter is overfull again. If you are thinking about getting a dog, cat to add to your family please consider going to the shelter 1st and if you can't keep your pet please try to find them a home before taking them to the shelter. Dawn Barrier

There are 560 dogs at The Animal Foundation this morning, and we are in desperate need of FOSTERS for medium and large dogs TODAY! 🆘

We’re holding a foster event from 11 to 7. Come to our adoptions building and we will be able to help you take home a dog. This event is made possible thanks to Best Friends Animal Society.

Even a two-week commitment can save lives. We provide all veterinary care and supplies.

When our shelter reaches numbers this high, we face serious concerns regarding the health and well-being of the animals in our shelter. When there are this many dogs so close together, we are at a higher risk of infectious disease.

If you find a healthy and friendly dog, try to find their owner before bringing them to the shelter. They likely have a home nearby and a family waiting for them to return.

What is there to do in Las Vegas?
If you like snow then take a look at this picture!

If you live in the Las Vegas area then you may only be an hour from the mountain, depending on traffic and weather conditions.

Thinking of heading up to the mountain to play in the snow?
Then you may want to check weather conditions on the mountain before you go as sometimes you may need chains.

Be prepared on weekends that have just had fresh powder as everyone has the same idea to head up and play in the snow so leave early as sometimes they will not let you go all the way up if it is already full.
