Johnny Díaz and six other founders had created the Gamma Chapter of Sigma Delta Alpha on September 16th, 2001 at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Historically, we were the first Latino fraternity in the State of Nevada. They had never imagined how we have evolved into a multicultural organization where today we welcome Brothers from all across the globe and represent our people in the world of academia, and what their accomplishment and story have meant to our communities. We always have strived to continue with our purposes and carry on their legacy by supporting and graduating our members.
