Please be cautious and research the terms offered by your mortgage company pertaining to the forbearance. Communication is key!! Call and talk to your mortgage holder. It is not forgiveness.

If there's any way you can still make your mortgage and rent payments right now, DO THAT.
Remember the 4 walls: food, utilities, SHELTER, and transportation. Putting a rent or mortgage payment off just kicks the can down the road, and you will still owe those payments later. Be smart and put as much toward them as you can while still prioritizing the 4 walls. Buy food first, keep the lights on second, then pay for shelter, and then cover any transportation needs you have right now.
