Going under contract on your new home is so exciting🤩 The key is to take it step by step!

In the first 10 days alone:

• Deposit gets submitted
• Attorney review starts (and we’re following up)
• Inspections are scheduled and common to take place within the first 10 days
• I help connect you with inspectors + coordinate everything
• Inspection happens (I’ll be there)
• Then negotiations begin depending on what comes up

Deadlines are most important during the transaction. Behind the scenes I’m coordinating timelines and staying in touch with your lender and attorneys to keep everything moving.

If you’re like me, whenever I’m going through something new, I want to understand the basics first- it just makes everything feel less overwhelming😅

Buying a home home comes with a lot of terms that sound confusing (and honestly… a little intimidating)

Here are a few you’ll hear all the time:

• Pre-approval – A lender reviews your finances and tells you what you can afford
• Earnest money – A deposit that shows you’re serious about your offer
• Inspection threshold – The amount of repair costs you’re willing to accept before renegotiating or walking away
• Appraisal gap – The difference between what a home appraises for vs what you offered

Once you understand these, the process starts to feel a lot less scary

Make sure to stop in this weekend!!
