Pricing your home correctly is extremely important in order to have a successful sale.🏡

Hiring a professional to list and get your property sold is key, you can try to do it yourself but statistics show that only 11% of sellers actually succeed at selling FSBO. (for sale by owner). 🏡

Make sure your home is de-cluttered and staged properly - ( unless you’re selling it in AS-IN condition which is an option) .. 🏡🏡

Buyers, Buyers, Buyers! .. We are definitely back to home buying season!! Yes, the rates are a bit high but there are many pros to buying NOW if you are ready and there are ways to get your interest rate down some..

There is A LOT less competition in the market right now ✔️

Homes are sitting on the market longer which means buyers have a better chance to negotiate the price and get the seller to pay most if not all of the closing cost. ✔️

There are down payment assistance programs available for qualified homebuyers ( not everyone will qualify but for those who do, that’s less money out of your pocket) ✔️.

I mean with the home prices continuing to rise I guess it’s only right! ..HPAP is opening up with $202,000 in down payment assistance. This is great for home buyers in DC…, I remember doing HPAP deals when the median home price was 350k now it’s 725k 😱….
