The Fritz Ranch is located in Yellowstone County, Montana. The Ranch is located on top of, and along, the south hills of the Yellowstone River overlooking the City of Billings. The views from this Ranch are unparalleled. From the view of the Rocky Mountains to the West, or of the Yellowstone River Valley below, you will see why Montana, and particularly this Ranch, is called the Big Sky Country.
A full Three hundred fifty (350) acres of the Ranch borders the Yellowstone River so there is plenty of fishing, boating and canoeing available. Did we mention that this Ranch has part of the Lewis & Clark trail located on it. Clark with his band of explorers traveled the Yellowstone River located on the Ranch and even camped downstream from this uniquely located property.
The views from the Ranch of the Yellowstone River valley, which includes the Yellowstone River, the City of Billings, the City of Laurel and the sandstone Cliffs called the “Rims” located across the Valley are spectacular, and, frankly, breathtaking, especially at night. At night, the City lights of both Billings, Montana and Laurel, Montana (to the west) lighten up the darkened sky.
Since the Ranch is located just to the east of the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, you can wake up every morning to the view of the Rocky Mountains and the ski runs at the Red Lodge Mountain Ski Resort to the southwest. Because this Ranch is located on one of the highest points in the Yellowstone Valley, you can see for over 60 miles. If Interested in this property email [email protected].
