With temperatures expected to reach 100°+ this week, your A/C may be working overtime! 🥵 Keep in mind that during extreme heat, A/C systems can struggle to cool your home more than 20–30° below the outdoor temperature.

A few ways to help your home stay cooler:
🪟 Keep blinds and curtains closed
🌀 Run ceiling or floor fans
🍳 Avoid using the oven when possible
💡 Turn off unnecessary lights and electronics
🚪 Keep doors and windows closed
🌡️ Consider setting your thermostat around 73–75° to help reduce strain on your system

And most importantly — stay hydrated, limit time outside during the hottest part of the day, and keep an eye on kids, older family members, and pets. 💧🐾

After months of dreaming, planning, negotiating, paperwork, spreadsheets, stress, excitement, and panic: WE HAVE THE KEYS.
