Thank you to Daybreak Director Wilson Torres for preparing one of our guests’ favorite dishes. Everyone enjoyed the meal and the care that went into making it.

The Valley of Hope Shelter and Recovery team met up with Kristen Snay for lunch at none other than Michael’s Bistro! 💙

The food was amazing, as always. The salmon Caesar salad was so fresh, with salmon cooked perfectly. We also enjoyed fish tacos, pork tostada, and flatbread pizza…every dish was delicious!

Thank you to Kristen for spending time with us and to the team at Michael’s Bistro for a wonderful lunch. Good food and good company make for a great afternoon! 🍽️

Michael Bastian, founder of Brothers in Arms, and Valley of Hope’s Chief Strategy Officer, Ashley Cimino, recently met to discuss how we can work together to strengthen support for people facing homelessness, addiction, and mental health challenges.

Conversations like this help us build connections, share ideas, and show up for our neighbors. We’re grateful for Michael’s time and look forward to continuing the conversation.

Our Women’s View program has a new home in Methuen, and we’re grateful to The Eagle-Tribune for sharing this milestone. 💜

Women’s View is a residential recovery program where women can find support, connection, and space to build their next chapter. This new home reflects what our community can make possible when we come together around hope and healing.

Today, Valley of Hope Shelter and Recovery was honored to welcome Massachusetts State Representative Celina Reyes for a tour of Daybreak Shelter.

Representative Reyes had the opportunity to learn more about the essential services Daybreak provides every day and the compassionate work our team does to support individuals experiencing homelessness.

We also shared Valley of Hope’s broader vision for the future and our commitment to developing meaningful, long-term solutions for the unhoused population throughout the Merrimack Valley.

Thank you, Representative Reyes, for taking the time to visit, listen, and learn about our mission. Strong community partnerships and engaged state leaders are essential as we work together to create pathways from crisis to stability—and from the Valley to the Mountain Top, TOGETHER. 💙

🎀 **Celebrating Women’s View: A House Filled with Love and Hope** 🎀

On September 10, 2026, we proudly celebrated the ribbon cutting of the new home of **Women’s View**, surrounded by the community that helped make this beautiful moment possible.

To our community partners, supporters, sponsors, the Methuen and Lawrence Police Departments, Mayor D.J. Beauregard, city councilors, state representatives, members of our Board of Directors, staff, alumni, and friends, **we appreciate every one of you**.

Your partnership, generosity, encouragement, and belief in our mission allow us to provide women with more than a safe place to live. Together, we are creating a home where women can heal, rebuild their lives, rediscover their strength, and move toward a future filled with hope.

This ribbon cutting represented so much more than the opening of a new building. It marked a new beginning for Women’s View and for every woman who will walk through its doors seeking recovery, stability, and the opportunity to begin again.
