Jacey and I had a busy and great day yesterday. We started the day by attending the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce Open House for the David Crockett State Park Event Center. It’s going to be so nice having this option for events!

After that we went to Alabama to show some beautiful waterfront homes to a sweet couple moving here from Florida. We had initially set up showings for three homes they wanted to tour. When we arrived at the first showing, they said they started to call to tell me to tell me they had driven by two other properties they might be interested in seeing but didn’t want to bother me while I was driving to the showing. They were so happy when they learned that Jacey and I are a mother-daughter-duo. They said “wow, so we can call or text while the other one is driving”. Yes indeed! One of us can drive while the other is on the computer looking up properties on the MLS, scheduling showings, or calling other agents to ask questions about properties. A safe way to multitask!

After meeting them and getting a feel for what they were looking for, we looked at the MLS together and found several other homes to look at that met their criteria. Jacey and I immediately started working together to plan out the best route to save time and mileage and calling the listing agents to coordinate the other showings. It’s so important to work well together and work well with other agents to benefit customers and clients.

This sweet couple flew in to Huntsville and are only in the area for a couple of days and were very impressed we were able to arrange so many showings so quick. We were able to narrow down properties to help them navigate their home search.

This afternoon, Jacey and I attended the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce Open House at the Lawrence County - Lawrenceburg Animal Shelter hosted by Friends of Lawrence County Animals. It was so great learning more about the shelter’s ongoing efforts and touring the facility. They have so many sweet adoptable dogs!!! 🐕

As May is National Pet Month, today was a great reminder of the importance of supporting local animals through adoption, fostering, and volunteering!!! Thank you FOLCA, the shelter staff, and all volunteers for helping the animals in Lawrence County!!! 🐾
