This afternoon, Jacey and I attended the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce Open House at the Lawrence County - Lawrenceburg Animal Shelter hosted by Friends of Lawrence County Animals. It was so great learning more about the shelter’s ongoing efforts and touring the facility. They have so many sweet adoptable dogs!!! 🐕

As May is National Pet Month, today was a great reminder of the importance of supporting local animals through adoption, fostering, and volunteering!!! Thank you FOLCA, the shelter staff, and all volunteers for helping the animals in Lawrence County!!! 🐾

Shilo Park 4-Miler this morning at Shilo National Military Park in Hardin County, TN. We were hoping the rain would hold off until after the run but it started sprinkling right before the start and by the last mile or so the rain was really falling which made the pebble concrete road surface slick as glass. Thankfully everyone finished safely. Jacey finished 1st 🥇 in her age group and I finished 3rd 🥉 in my age group. ❤️

22nd Annual Swampers 5k and 1 Mile this morning in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Jacey and I ran the 5K. This is one of our favorite runs to do! Very well organized with great course, shirts, medals and food!!! A big turnout today with over 800 people signed up and 730 finishers. It was great getting to see some of our Tennessee Running Tour friends at the run. It’s been a beautiful and fun day! ☀️ 💗
