Tip…..command hooks do not remove like the commercial says. They remove paint. When renting, do not use. You may lose your deposit as it will require wall repair and painting.

Just a friendly reminder to change your air filters on the ac. With this heat, it will be working harder and clean air filters are needed to keep it from freezing up. It does not need to be an expensive filter, cheap ones at Ace work great.

If you have pets inside, you will need to change it more often.

Fiberglass air filter. Merv2 rated. Similar to the photo.

With cold weather coming in the next few days(20 degrees or below with high wind chills). Please check the following items.
1. Make sure smoke alarms are functioning properly.
2. Disconnect all garden hose from outside faucets to allow water to drain.
3. Replace furnace filters to allow good air flow.
4. Keep heat turned up to 70 degrees or higher to keep heat in crawl space/basement. And to prevent water and drain lines from freezing.
5. Leave heat setting up during the day and night during this cold period.
6. Leave inside faucets dripping during extreme temperatures and elevated wind conditions .
7. Open cabinet doors to allow heat around water and drain pipes

As snow begins to build up around the base of your home tomorrow, it's very important to clear any snow or ice away from exterior vents. This will help to prevent CO from building up inside the home.
