Saw dancing aphids for the first time ! I hate aphids but it was cool to see them in the forest😭 & the honeydew they produce gets eaten by the bees 😍 so interesting

I present to you: cucumbers🥒. I grow a lot on the farm, but this semester I exclusively started, transplanted, and have been caring for cucumbers. A very humbling experience 😭. I lost a few to Rollie pollies 🙄. Got discouraged & a little sad because you don’t wanna see anyyy of your kids die . Made a truce with them by giving them the leaves that were touching the soil (in their own separate pile of course). & that solved our problem. They were just wanting to eat😌Since we don’t spray, we have to find creative ways to handle insects . This one thing taught me A LOT . The goal is to always work WITH mother 🌍. Never against her . The cucumbers are fruiting now, so we’ll have some at the farmers market for you guys come end of May🌱. But for now, enjoy the evolution from March🥰.
