Advance voting begins Monday morning at locations throughout Fulton County -- including now at two places in Milton.

Registered voters who reside in Fulton County can vote at any of the locations shown on this post. (This is unlike on Election Day itself, which is November 8 this year, when people can only cast ballots at their assigned precinct.) Wherever it is, advance voting starts on October 17 and runs to November 4; the hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. In addition, there are a few places -- the closest to us being the Alpharetta Library -- where absentee ballots can be dropped off during the building's operating hours.

This fall, Milton has two places to vote early (neither with a drop-box). The first is the longtime voting location of Milton Library off Mayfield Road. The second is in the Milton Community Center, which is part of Milton City Park and Preserve at 1785 Dinsmore Road.

By state law, the County runs elections with federal and state races -- as is the case in 2022. You can get more information at https://www.fultoncountyga.gov/inside-fulton-county/fulton-county-departments/registration-and-elections.

And to find out if you’re registered to vote, view a sample ballot, and see where you’re assigned to vote on Election Day (Nov. 8), go to https://mvp.sos.ga.gov/s/.
