The aspens are about to turn, and Whispering Woods Peak has the front-row seat.

Tucked in the pines between Lead and Deadwood, this is the kind of place where mornings start slow with coffee on the deck and end with the sky doing something ridiculous over the ridgeline.

Fresh snow + opening day = the perfect excuse to escape to the hills! ❄️⛷️
Terry Peak kicks off the 2025–2026 season this Friday, Dec. 5 with limited terrain—Stewart Lift, Snowcarpet, and Surprise Lift will be spinning, and lift tickets are discounted (our favorite winter phrase).

Ski School, Stewart Lodge, rentals, and the Mountain Shop will all be open for action.

Check conditions, watch the webcams, and start planning your snowy getaway!
