[Wednesday, April 15, 2026] - We met Katie & Matthew, forty-three (43) days ago, in early March. Matthew, an active duty Coast Guard service member, was being transferred to the area, so they were looking to move to the Mainland, and in close proximity to Galveston Island. Stephanie led the way and got right to work. They were quick to find a beautiful new home on the outer west edge of the fast developing corridor north of Emmett F. Lowry Expressway, between Highway 3, and I-45.
Now, Closing and Funding, Wednesday, April 15, 2026, Katie & Matthew are officially first-time homeowners. They made a great investment in the conveniently located Ambrose subdivision just south of Lago Mar, in the west La Marque market. Their new construction home, is a 1,615 square foot, 1-story, three (3) Bedroom, two (2) Bathroom, 2025 build, on an oversized 9,060 square-foot lot (1.).
Shout-out to Mitchell, the Sales Consultant with M/I Homes of Houston, LLC, who worked with Fernando, the Construction Manager for M/I Homes, to wrap-up a few "blue tape" items before Closing. Fernando went above and beyond Builder requirements, and installed a run of roof diverter flashing, also known as "kickout flashing," used to divert rainwater away for the AC condenser.
Another kudos to our forming team, The Land-Man Group, and bringing it home for another active military member, as we look forward to serving many more in 2026, and beyond.
