Considering a move in or around Round Rock and wondering about school transfer options?

Round Rock ISD’s transfer application for the 2026–27 school year is currently open for both in-district and out-of-district requests.

A few important reminders for families:

✅ The priority processing deadline of May 22, 2026 has passed.
✅ Applications may still be submitted and are considered based on district policies and campus availability.
✅ A transfer request is not a guarantee of approval.
✅ Families should verify transportation, campus availability and enrollment requirements directly with RRISD.

School options can be an important part of a family’s moving conversation, but they should always be researched directly with the district before making a housing decision. AND remember that if it's a few years before your child enters a desired campus, there is no guarantee that the current feeder pattern will remain in place.
