The story goes…

A young family gets orders to Fort Leavenworth to attend CGSC. It’s just a year long course but it’s an influential year.

The Fort Leavenworth area feels like home whenever they come back for a follow on course (like PCC).

The Army sends the family back for another tour. A second or third time. And as the family nears retirement…the ‘Leavenworth Pull’ tugs at them. They may have some high school kids they don’t want to uproot. And they are part of a community.

So the family settles in. Drops retirement paperwork. Puts down roots.

And searches for a house to call their own. And they stay….until kids are finished with school. Or until the kids and grandkids have settled someplace else and it’s time to move closer to them.

This was my family’s story. And for my buyers who closed today…it’s their story. And so many others just like them. Such a joy to help families settle in to life beyond their years of military service. 🇺🇸

7 years ago, I got my real estate license. I had no idea it would turn into this.

Seven years of helping military families move in and out of the Fort Leavenworth area.

Seven years of FaceTime house tours with buyers stationed halfway around the world, trusting me to be their eyes on the ground.

Seven years of learning this market — every school, every neighborhood, every hidden gem — so my clients don’t have to guess.

Seven years of growing as a business owner - figuring out what works, what doesn’t, and who I want to be in this industry.

My own military life experience has allowed me to serve this community in a way that feels personal, not just professional. I know what it’s like to move on someone else’s timeline, and I’ve built a career around making that transition easier for others.
