Tacos 🌮

Big day for Liberty taco fans. Tiki Taco opens its first north-of-the-river location today.

The Kansas City taco favorite opens its sixth metro location today, July 7, and it is the brand's first ever spot on the Northland side of the Missouri River.

It sits on the Kansas City, MO side of the Liberty border, right next to neighborhood anchors Betty Rae's, Red Door Grill and Swig.

For years, Northland and Liberty fans have had to drive south for their Tiki Taco fix. That ends now.

CEO Eric Knott said the location "may technically have a Kansas City address," but it "belongs to the Liberty community just as much," adding that being next to Betty Rae's "says everything about the kind of neighborhood we're planting roots in."

The new store serves the full menu, including the tacos and burritos that built the brand's following across the metro.
