It’s always a treat when your work involves spending time with old friends.

Some showings, some inspections, some lattes and matchas + gummy bears while we waited, all of our kiddo updates (including making the competitive volleyball team 🏐—yay!), and we got this crew into their new home right on their timeline. Sometimes we find the one right out of the gate. Other times, it takes a season—or two…or three. And honestly, that’s just part of the process.

One of my favorite things about a longer home search is the time I get to spend with my clients along the way. It’s been such a pleasure getting to know this crew, and I’m so happy that their patience paid off because we found it. 🤍

They just closed on this beautiful Leawood home, with a little bit of summer left to settle in and squeeze in a few trips to the neighborhood pool before school starts.

So happy for them and excited for everything ahead in their new home! 🏡 I think a four-legged friend may be in their future, too!

*This house*, *on this street*, *for sale* was an opportunity that doesn't come along very often and I'm *so* happy we were able to snag it for my clients!

It's on Prairie Village's legendary "Candy Cane Lane", where every holiday season thousands of people drive through to see the fun (and abundant!) lights and decorations. It's one of those streets locals dream about living on, and now my clients get to call it home. It'll be a wonderful space for a wonderful family.

I'm very thankful they thought of me when they decided it was time to move.

P.S. If you look closely, you might spot a little nod to the alma mater my client and I share. Anyone catch it?

There are some clients you genuinely look forward to hearing from, and these are those people. 💛

We looked at a lot of houses, talked through a lot of "pros" and "cons", and kept circling back to the one that felt right. I'm so glad we did.

This home has so many of the little things that make everyday life better—a nice, XL primary suite with a deck that's practically begging for slow mornings with coffee, a huge backyard that's ready for everything from summer evenings with friends to lazy Sundays, and a location that makes getting around Kansas City so easy.

Mostly, though, it's a home I can already picture them loving.

Getting to help really wonderful people find a place that fits their life is one of the best parts of what I do. I couldn't be happier for them, and I can't wait to hear about the memories they'll make here.

Starting to sound like a broken record (again x83), but it’s still true—I have the best clients 🤍 This one came as a referral from another favorite (which always means a lot). She had a clear vision, stayed open-minded, and made the whole process genuinely fun (while being a good sport about all the creatively flavored lattes I made her try as we house-shopped☕️😂 Shout out for Cereal Milk Latte with Lucky Charms marshmallows, for the iced Angel Carmellos and for the iced Puppy Chow cappuccinos✨)

We found a home that checks every box—and as she perfectly put it: location, location, location. I have a feeling Round Hill is going to suit her very well.
