As September races by, August seems like a distant (albeit busy!) memory! Many thanks to my clients, both buyers and sellers, who helped to end the summer on a high note! Let's keep this momentum going as we welcome (hopefully) some cooler temps!

Whoo-hoo!!! 🎉 Happiest of CLOSING DAYS to my Lawrence-area sellers!! Thanks for hanging in there, staying the course and trusting in the process (even on the days when the last thing you wanted to hear was my saying, "Time to mow the yard!" -- lol!!).

When we hit the market, little did we know there would be FOUR competitors on the same block!!! Oh, and that the market would take a summer siesta at the same time... But persistence and persuasion are my middle names -- and NEGOTIATING is what I love to do!! As a result, my sellers:

✅ Were the first ones on the block to receive an offer!
✅ Netted $13,000 more than the next closest competitor!

CONGRATULATIONS 🎉 and happiest of closing days, Sam! I'm still amazed that we were able to pull this one off -- negotiating everything in a whirlwind 24 hours (or was it less??!) while the buyer was in KC and I was traveling to Florida (yep, vacation is the best time for selling homes; happens that way every year and I am NOT complaining!!).

First-time buyers always have a special place in my heart and this one is no different -- referred from a great set of clients/turned friends (who were themselves a referral from another amazing group of clients/friends...) I get attached and after spending so much time together over the last several weeks (errr, months??), I am always glad when the buyer says he will have me over to see the improvements to the home! I know he will have it looking shiny and new in no time!
