Nacona Ward, Realtor at Real Nice Homes - ReeceNichols, Leawood I am a licensed Realtor in both Kansas and Missouri. My name is Nacona Ward and I'm a Real Nice Homes Team Player with Andrew Kneisler and Tracy McCullough.

Let me assist you in the process from start to finish in the process of buying or selling your home or business! We work out of the Leawood office at ReeceNichols, which just so happens to be the number one brokerage in the KC Metro area and the entire state of Kansas. I like to tell people I am a "Residential Therapist." My job is to help you through the process of buying or selling (or buying AN

D selling) a home and helping you keep your sanity in the process. As the mother of two, I'm passionate about schools and the community around me as a whole. I am a VP of my children's elementary school PTO and have held many committee chair positions over the years because I know that our schools are fundamental in creating a positive future. I am on the Blue Valley School District Facility Planning Committee because I know that it takes people who care to help create the environment necessary for a positive learning experience for all of our children. I'm a member of the Stilwell Community because even though I may not know all of them by name, my neighbors are a part of my extended family. It takes a village. I am one of the Village People. (I get to be the Indian. I am named after Chief Peta Nacona after all.) I'm also a bit of a goofball. Oh, who am I kidding? I'm a big goofball. I'm always laughing and joking around. Life's too short to take things too seriously! Besides, there is nothing that relieves stress better than laughter. So, while I am serious on the inside and take care of business – I do it with a smile and humor to keep the anxiety down for my clients. It's scary to navigate this process for a first time home buyer. Or even a buyer who's done this a time or two. Or twelve. At Real Nice Homes we do this everyday. It's what we do. We will let you know what to expect along the journey and what your alternatives are as we navigate. And we will smile and laugh all the way through because it IS fun. They are taking away the senior lot. The kids have a petition to get it reviewed and need 500 signatures. It takes 3 minutes if you type slowly.

Sign for the seniors who have had their school careers jacked by Covid. They finally are seniors and now they don’t get a senior lot anymore. That sucks. My kids are not even there anymore, but I feel for them.

I know there are bigger issues in the world, but if you can help with just one thing with 3 minutes of your time, why not? Show these young people that standing up for themselves is supported by their community!

I didn't realize I had created myself a niche with my hiatus from real estate after a leap of faith and acquiring my Series 7 and 66 to taking on the financial industry. I’m back in real estate now, but I do still have my financial licenses and in the process of deciding where to hang them. (More to come on that!)

I've always joked that I was my clients' Fairy Godmother making their happily ever afters come true, but now having a more robust understanding of investments AND real estate makes me want a set of wings and some fairy dust so I can properly play the role. :)~

I just realized that I failed to let y'all know where I went when I shifted gears. It's been big year for me!

I am a financial advisor at Edward Jones!

I loved helping people find the home they would raise their children in. Now I get to go one step further and help them figure out how to pay for college for those kiddos and plan for the days beyond the 9 to 5 when it's time to enjoy the fruits of their life long labor!

I'm still here to help make the complex fun and understandable. It's just a much bigger aspect of life needs - your financial future!

Well my friends... I have shifted gears.

If you need a realtor - please do not hesitate to call me because I've got your hook up, but, alas, it shall not be me. I have truly had a blast and have loved having the honor of helping my clients find their new homes. I have made a number of great friends along the way that I have every intention of keeping up with! I had the pleasure of working with some of the greatest agents out there again making friendships to last a lifetime.

However, like I said, I am changing my path. An opportunity that I could not pass up presented itself and I'm jumping in with both feet. Giddy Up!
