Right across the street from my home is the Shawnee Mission School District Broadmoor Bistro at the Center for Academic Achievement. There’s a beautiful nature conservatory that changes with the seasons, from sunflowers to native plants and all kinds of flowers. The culinary program grows a variety of fresh vegetables and herbs, with produce available for purchase on Saturday mornings throughout the summer. 🥕🍅🥬 And their restaurant is now open Wednesday evenings. It’s awesome!

Rocko loves coming here, and so do all my other dogs. We’re out here walking every morning, rain or shine. I may be in a parka but we’re HERE. ☔️ Enjoying all the beauty this incredible spot has to offer.

Moose made himself right at home at Oktoberfest in Shawnee today! 🍻🐾🇩🇪

This dog is SO incredibly friendly. None of my other dogs can come to events like this, so It’s refreshing to have a dog who can tag along and happily soak up all the attention. Oktoberfest was great with tons of people, and we definitely braved the heat (last day🤞). I hope there were tons of adoptions for Pawsitive Tails.

I know Moose will get adopted, but I’m really enjoying having such a social, easygoing dog here at home while he waits for his forever family. Proud foster mama. I love you buddy! ❤️

Another Saint Joseph, MO property SOLD. 🏡 My buyer is moving closer to Kansas City to be near family. I couldn’t be happier for this fellow animal rescuer. 🐕🐕‍🦺
