Today is National Read Across America Day! It is celebrated every year on March 2nd, which is the birthday of the famous American author we all know and love, Dr. Seuss. This is why it is also known as Dr. Seuss Day.

Property taxes...yuck!! We don't like them either! If you are thinking about buying a new home, know that property taxes are important to take into consideration when you are budgeting for the new house payment. 🏡

Home should be our place of comfort. What makes your home feel like home? 1 or 2? I am a 2 any day, every day. I have a hard time sitting down and relaxing until everything is in order. My family would agree, BUT my reality is the big 1! We are a busy family of 7, always active and coming and going. So, if you drop by at any given time unannounced, you are going to get our lived in home. I love it, because it is a reminder of my blessings and the people that live in it.

From a real estate standpoint, if you are trying to sell your home it is best to give your home a 2 appearance. Some everyday items left out that show people live here and it is a HOME are totally fine. Just keep things clean and store away the clutter so that potential buyers can see your house and not be distracted by the things that don't come with the house. 🏡❤
