On October 31st, you may notice something a little different this year. Cedar Realty Group won't have a booth at Haunting on Main. And I wanted to share why.

If you know us, you know how much we LOVE this community. We love showing up, giving back, seeing familiar faces, and being part of the things that make our little town so special.

A couple of years ago, our team went ALL OUT for Haunting on Main. We poured countless hours into decorating our booth, and we ended up winning the booth decorating contest! I was SO excited. It was honestly one of the most fun and memorable nights we've ever had together as a team.

I came home, still excited about our big win and that little plastic trophy, and I was greeted by two little girls who couldn't wait to tell their daddy about how much fun they'd had trick-or-treating. While I was out celebrating a trophy, my little girls were out making Halloween memories without me.

I remember standing there with tears in my eyes, realizing that in all my excitement about doing something great for our business and community, I had missed an opportunity to do something even greater. Just be Dad.

Now, don't misunderstand me. I love what I do. I love Cedar Realty. I love our community. And I am incredibly proud of the team we've built. But one thing I've learned is that you can be so busy trying to build something meaningful that you accidentally miss the moments that matter most.

My girls are growing up faster than I ever imagined. One day, they won't need Daddy to walk them around the neighborhood in their Halloween costumes. One day, they won't be quite as excited to hold my hand or show me every piece of candy in their buckets. But this year, they still are. And I don't want to miss it.

So this Halloween, instead of standing behind a booth, I'll be walking the streets of our neighborhood with my two favorite little girls, making memories that I pray they'll carry with them long after I'm gone.

And many of our agents will be doing the exact same thing with their families. When we say Cedar Realty is a family, we mean it. And part of loving our team like family is recognizing that their families deserve the very best of them, too.

Our hearts haven't changed. We still love this town; we still love serving our neighbors, and we will continue finding ways to give back to the community that has given us so much. But sometimes, loving your community also means raising your children, loving your spouse, and being present for the people God entrusted to you first.

There will always be another event. Another opportunity. Another trophy. But there will never be another Halloween with my girls at this age.

WHOA! Can we talk about a TRANSFORMATION?! 🤯💚

Today, we walked outside to grab the mail, turned around, and looked back at our building and WOW! Sometimes you don't realize just how much something has changed until you stop and really look at it!

The transformation of our Cedar Realty Group building has been absolutely incredible! From the fresh exterior to the landscaping, the black accents, and all those little details that bring everything together, it's hard to believe this is the same building!

We've put so much thought into every detail, and seeing it all come together has been so exciting. We wanted something timeless, welcoming, and beautiful right here on Main Street in Lebanon, and we couldn't be happier with how it's turning out!

Now, let's talk about those MUMS! 😂🍂

Because YES, we know they're AMAZING! We got those beauties from Jeroleen's Shed on Route 19, right off the four-lane! If you haven't stopped by, you need to! Go grab you some before they're gone. They're absolutely gorgeous, and we love getting to support another local business!

And here's the crazy part... you haven't even seen the INSIDE transformation yet! 👀
