For the first time in generations, this 116-acre tract of land is being offered to the public—an outdoorsman’s dream rich with both history and untapped potential. A quarter of the property is tillable ground, while the rest is heavy/mature timber, rolling hills, and native grasslands accented by rock outcroppings and a meandering stream. Multiple ponds provide fishing opportunities and support thriving wildlife—deer, turkey, fox, and even bald eagles. Family lore says Quantrill’s outfit AND Jesse James used this rugged landscape to its advantage, while Native American artifacts found on-site show it was well traveled long before. Union soldiers also moved through the area during the Battle of Lone Jack, adding to its historic significance. A 3-bedroom ranch-style home sits on the property as well—ready for some TLC and the chance to make it your own hunting lodge, weekend getaway, or full-time residence. With unmatched privacy, abundant game, and layers of history, this land is more than an opportunity—it’s a legacy waiting to be explored.

We are currently working with this amazing family in their search for a new home. Please keep them in mind if you know of anything. Here are some things they are looking for in their next home-

🎄Enough square footage for a Christmas tree to go not in the yard, but in their living room.

🎄Space in the backyard for a possible pool.

🎄At least a two car garage to store a sensible family vehicle & several holiday decorations.

🎄Large enough driveway to store an RV, out of sight, for one month a year.

🎄Prefer no commercial buildings nearby, such as a nitroglycerin plant.

🎄2 story floorplan with properly attached newel-post.

🎄Whole home generator in the event of power loss from questionable electrical choices.

🎄Solid construction framing so there’s no “funny squeaking sound”.

🎄If the home is on septic, they’d prefer a modern system so they’ll never have to worry about someone complaining that “the sh*tter was full” when guests are over.

Any leads feel free to send them my way!
