This past Friday, one of the stops on our big bus tour was Cockrell Mercantile Company in Lee’s Summit.

There were several ladies on the bus that had never been there. It was SO fun to see their reactions to the magic of this destination shop. They were just amazed that there are 5 buildings (!!!) filled with so many items. It truly is a gem.

Make sure you make time this Fall to stop by and give them a visit.
And if you don’t follow them already on Facebook, be sure that you do!

I picked up sooo many new treasures…new oven mitts, new super cute denim apron, Sloppy Joe sauce, sourdough proofing loaf, new whisks and the BEST tomato candle (IYKYK😂😂)

And fun fact, Sarah and Eric are 2 of the best people you will ever meet. I have known Eric for 40 years now and he and Sarah combined bring the love and wonder to Cockrell.

Bus Tour Day = Best Day! 😍😍

Mindy and I absolutely LOVE hosting this day for our client friends.
We rent out a GIANT coach bus, visit some of our favorite shops and tour big, gorgeous, mind blowing homes. We eat, drink, and be merry with lots of prizes, food and snacks.

This year the timing worked out so that we could go on the Artisan Homes Tour by the Parade of Homes - Greater Kansas City
I think this was our 7th tour- and my gosh! I think it was our best yet!

We started off at Charmed House Interiors where Brandon and the girls always take such great care of us. ❤️

Next we stopped by to see the tour homes in Parkville and we all fell in love with the Casa Bella home- STUNNING! Casa Bella Construction😍

Our third stop of the day was The Fabulous Fern Blake has the shop looking SO good!

Over to the Loch Lloyd homes next, and I think it is safe to say- we were all stunned. The waterfall pool thing had us all speechless.

And we ended our day at Cockrell Mercantile Company to see Sarah and Eric and load up on some Lone Jack Pizza Co.. (OmGosh- get the Cheeseburger pizza!)

Ladies, thank you for such an amazing day- we loved every minute. And I will probably be blasting on our stories and page with an over abundance of photos and videos because there was just SO much to see!

Cognac Leather shows up A LOT in homes we visit. So we thought it would be fun to show you some pillow combos from our inventory that we love to pair with that beautiful color.😍😍

We view cognac as a neutral. A lot of homes do lean into grays and whites, and often times people think they can not incorporate a brown hue like Cognac. We strongly disagree- Warms and Cools TOTALLY can mix! Bringing in this color immediately softens and warms up a room.
It feels more layered, put together, more intentional, more styled and cozy.
