Lee’s Summit Archery Teams Showed Up at Nationals!
Last weekend, LSR7 archery teams attended the NASP Nationals in Louisville, KY. It was the largest archery event in the United States with 14,079 students from the eastern region competing. Individuals and teams from Lee’s Summit scored well enough to be eligible for the Championship Tournament in Daytona in June 2026. Way to go!
Here is a list of the LSR7 middle school and high school teams that qualified for the Championship Tournament:
For middle school team, they had score 3,000 points or higher and for 3D shooting 1, 415 points or higher. Here are the standings:
• East Trails Middle School scored 3,213 points and ranked 51 out of 249.
• Pleasant Lee Middle School scored 3,217 points and ranked 48 out of 249
• Bernard Campbell Middle School scored 3,222 and ranked 41 out of 249.
At the high school level, teams need a score of at least 3,100 points in Bullseye and 1,475 in 3D to qualify for the Championship Tournament. Here’s how they did:
• Lee’s Summit High School scored 3, 307 points and ranked 69 out of 262 .
• Lee’s Summit North High school had a score of 3,363 and ranted 24 out of 262.
• Lee’s Summit West scored 3,250 and ranked 120 out of 262.
