Whether it’s by providing business space to distribute food following hurricanes or wildfires for linemen and firefighters, or donating scholarships to local high school students, I’ve learned that we rise by lifting others. Today, I want to bring your attention to a DeRidder native who has always been dedicated to serving our community—Former Councilwoman Kimaron Haynes Moore. This week, Former Councilwoman Haynes-Moore and her family tragically lost their entire home in a devastating house fire.
