FUN FACT FRIDAY - 🦩PINK LAWN FLAMINGO🦩
In 1957, a 21-year-old art school graduate named Don Featherstone created his second major design for the Massachusetts-based lawn and garden decoration manufacturer Union Products: a three-dimensional plastic pink flamingo propped up by two thin, metal legs that could be plunged into soft dirt. A lot of people use pink flamingos just to add a fun decoration to their yard. Sometimes flamingos are placed in a yard by someone else, for a surprise or charity. They're fun & kitschy! 🦩🏡🦩

It's Throwback Thursday!

Our first home! We purchased this home in Bridgeport, CT in 1984. Our interest rate was 16% 😂. We could not have done this without the help of family, an amazing realtor - there's a good story about her, top notch lender and a very seasoned accountant.
