Just closed on a gorgeous home this week, representing some terrific buyers, who initially lost out on the property to a competitor. I stayed in touch with the listing agent after the loss and maintained good lines of communication, as well as toured other homes with my clients to consider. But, this was meant to be THEIRS. When the “winning” ratified contract was about to fall through, the listing agent called me. My clients were able to come in as the backup offer and we conducted a 6-hour home inspection on a SATURDAY, with one of my favorite home inspectors. Working with competent professionals who surround themselves with terrific vendors can make all the difference in life. Memory from 11 months ago & looking at present day. Enormously proud and exhausted and amazed that will be child #2 to graduate from UVA. Massive THANK YOU to .goodrum for being such a great Dad who encouraged these kids to stay away from Virginia Tech. Sure, VT is a good engineering school. But hey - UVA is so much cooler 😎😆😜💕💕💕💕 Mad props to for making this great announcement letting everyone know (well just her friends - I’m now sharing with mine!!!) she’s walking the Lawn next month to graduate!!! Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day ☘️ 2 days early (but really… procrastinating filing my taxes… heard no one is at the IRS anymore 😆). Supporting my husband’s music gig in Western Loudoun at one of the prettiest Breweries in the county, Harvest Gap. The Brewery owners here are super chill and welcome customers with four paws 🐾 to come inside & listen to live music 🎶 Not pictured is any of the food we ate! Dave was worried about his voice because he had stayed up playing poker with friends last night. ♥️ ♠️♣️♦️Pam said she thought he sounded better after 3 ci**rs!!!! 😆Charlie got a few new friends 🐾🐾🐾 and I got an IPA! 🍺
