 I get that there are a lot of people scared over a Trump presidency. I get it because I felt the same way in 2008. We were fed a steady diet of Barack Obama‘s intentions. He was coming for our guns, would grant amnesty to illegals and would have UN soldiers enforcing international law with our borders. In his first term, none of this happened even though Democrats controlled the house and Senate. When he ran for a second term, the same stories started coming around.

We should all be skeptical of every single elected official, Donald Trump included. We should be even more skeptical of a media that pushes narratives that they know are lies. I’m convinced that we are not divided by our positions as much as we are divided by what we think the other sides positions are.

If you have this January 2025 list running through your feed take a screenshot and keep it. Four years from now, see how much of it has been genuinely attempted. I don’t mean what (INSERT YOUR NEWS OUTLET HERE) says has been done, I mean what has been voted on in Congress or actually signed into an executive order. Also realize that some of the things on this list are differences of opinion in policy and are why Trump was elected.
