I met the founder and he is an amazing guy who grew up homeless and wants to help families in need this holiday season by providing food for a whole week. You can volunteer to deliver food, donate or nominate needy families.

The market has slowed down since May/June. There aren't as many bidding wars. Recently I was able to help a family buy a home for $15k under list price.

Here's a quick snapshot of 2021 so far through Q2:
-Average sales price has increased from $394k in 2020 to $537k!
-Homes are selling for 2.5% above list price vs 2.5% below list price in 2020
-Roughly the same number of homes have sold through Q2 2021 as sold through Q2 2020.
-We still have slightly fewer homes being listed but a lot more buyers out there than in previous years hence the shorter days on market and all of the bidding wars.

Who says there is nothing on the market right now? Check out this awesome property famously known as the "Darth Vader House". It was built by a plastic surgeon down in Houston and it just came on the market!
