Help us settle something.
Kitchen A went with an induction cooktop — flat, quiet, and it vanishes into the quartz when you're not using it. Kitchen B went with a full pro-style gas range with brass k***s, the kind you notice the second you walk in.
Both are in Patterson homes. Both cook a great Sunday dinner. We just can't agree on which one we'd pick.

We get asked for a rambler that doesn't feel small, and the Holly is our answer.
Main-floor living at 2,329 square feet, a 3-car garage, and an 871 square foot upper level that can be a bonus room or a quiet place for guests. Downstairs, the basement is split into two separate areas you can finish as you go.

Every builder says "close to everything." At Bullock, close to everything means you can walk the kids to a 25 acre park with a splash pad, a pump track, and a skate park, then be back before dinner.

It's a brand new community in Pleasant Grove, inside Alpine School District, with Mount Timpanogos in view.

Two homes are left, and both are already finished. Our design team made every selection in them, so there is nothing to pick out. You walk through it, and if it's right, it's yours.

You can tell a lot about a house in the first ten seconds, and the Charlotte spends them well.
Open the door and the ceiling goes up two stories. The windows sit high enough to pull in the mountains, the paneled wall gives all that space something to do, and the stained door lets light through before you even turn the handle. It's a welcome, not a hallway.

Every good bedroom has one spot you end up in without meaning to.
In this one, it's the chair by the window. Mountains out the glass, soft light most of the day, and a bench at the end of the bed for the pillows that never quite make it back on.
We kept the walls simple and white on purpose, so the light and the view get to be the whole show.
What's the one thing you'd add to your bedroom if you could? We're always taking notes.

Nothing beats a good before and after. 🏡

Idea, then paper, then framing and drywall, then the finishing touches — and one week it stops being a jobsite and starts being a kitchen. That stretch in the middle is where all the real decisions get made, even though the after photo gets all the credit.

The laundry room is one of the rooms people spend the most time in and think about the least.
So we gave this one two runs of counter for folding, hanging rods on both sides, storage all the way to the ceiling, and machines raised up so loading and unloading doesn't mean crouching on the floor. It's a room you're in a few times a week for years — it should earn that.

Junior designer Myriam designed this home, and the floating staircase is its crown jewel.

Metal treads with two stories of glass behind them, right off the entry. The rest of the Meredith:

Third garage bay just past 40 feet deep

The first fire of the season is about three weeks out.

We design the family room around the hearth first, then let the mantel set the proportions for the rest of the room. Come October it earns every bit of that attention: candles on the mantel, boots by the door, nobody willing to sit anywhere else.
