It’s Friday!!
Do you know what that means?
It means you get a quiet corner’s post from me.
What is that you may ask.
I decided that the days I post will have themes. Fridays theme is little corners of the world, ok mainly Lehigh acres,Fl and surrounding areas 😆, that I find quiet, peace, and beauty.
Today’s post is brought to you by Wild Cat Dr. property in Fort Myers last year when I listed a beautiful place that had these orchids growing on these trees.

Orchids are one of my favorite flowers/plants. The other is Gardenia bushes. 🌼

Derrick and I went for a peaceful walk in the woods… which sounded like a great idea until it got really quiet. 😂

At some point my brain decided we were no longer on a nature trail and were actually in A Quiet Place.
Peaceful? Yes. Relaxing? Debatable. 😂

Can’t wait for cooler weather!

Florida may not get the memo that September is almost here 😂 but we’re already looking forward to cooler evenings like this again.

The boys and I know how much Derrick loves being able to come home after a long day and sit by the fire. I love it too… just preferably from a safe distance from the bugs. 😂

One day I’d love to redo this whole little area—beautiful ground underfoot, cozy seating, no sand, and somehow a completely bug-free fire zone. A girl can dream. 🤎

For now, I’m just ready for our Florida version of fall and evenings around the fire again.

Sometimes a video just can’t capture it.
Walking the trail with Derrick, everything was so still and quiet except for the grasshoppers in the field. I stood there for a minute just taking it in.
These are the kinds of places that make me want to slow down and stay awhile. 🤍

Our first time playing disc golf… and apparently losing the disc was NOT an option. 😂

Derrick was determined to get it back, while Logan stood by supervising the rescue mission. We may need to work on our aim before the next round. 😂
