Tomorrow is the Leland Wine & Food Festival and it's one of the best days of the year. 😍

Local wines, craft beer from Stormcloud, incredible food vendors, live music, and all of it right on the harbor with views of Lake Michigan and the Manitou Islands.

Plus, your ticket supports the Leland Chamber, which funds everything from the town's 4th of July fireworks to the holiday lights on Main Street. 🍷

It runs from noon to 5pm and you can pop in and out between the festival and the beach, Fishtown, the galleries, all of it.

If you haven't done a wine tour at Black Star Farms, this is the summer to change that. 👀

The estate is stunning, 160 acres of vineyards, a beautiful inn, and the kind of wine cave you didn't know existed in Michigan.

Their guided tours take you through the whole process from grape to glass, and the tasting at the end is worth every minute. 🍷

It's one of those places that makes you feel like you stumbled into wine country in Europe, except the lake is ten minutes away and the people are warmer. 😅

This view right here is why people fall in love with the tip of the peninsula. 💛

That's the Grand Traverse Lighthouse tucked into the trees, standing guard at the very edge of Northport. It's been here since 1858 and somehow the view has only gotten better.

Miles of shoreline, nothing but green and blue and sky, and the kind of quiet that makes you forget there's a world beyond this one.

If you've never driven all the way to the top of Leelanau, this is what's waiting for you. (And if it makes you want to stay… I know a few places nearby.) 😉

June 1st on the peninsula and everything is wide open. 😍

The lake is warmer than it was last week. The light lasts past 9pm. The patios are full and the back roads smell like cut grass and wildflowers and something sweet you can't quite place. 🌿

This is the month where everything shifts from "almost summer" to "this is it." And every year it still catches me off guard how good it feels.

The Crystal River is running and the kayaks are coming out. 😍

If you've never paddled this stretch through the National Lakeshore, it's one of the most peaceful things you can do on the peninsula.

Quiet water, tall trees on both sides, the occasional heron standing perfectly still like it knows something you don't. 🛶

It takes a couple hours. It costs almost nothing. And it'll reset your whole week.

And if you go through Crystal River Outfitters this summer, say hi to Sean… that's my son out there helping get you on the water! 💛
