Lakey and River love their walks at Bass Lake in Blowing Rock in the morning. After that we head to Say Cheese Gourmet Grilled Cheese for a sandwich.

9 degrees this morning. Usually doesn’t get that cold here for this long. Everything is still covered in ice, including our road, yard, deck and driveway.
The sun is coming up and we are praying we can get some ice up.
