From pots and pans to towels, a new bed, and art for the walls, Start Above helps youth get settled into their first apartment and make it a personalized space to call their own. After close and thoughtful planning with the young adult, Rise Above revamps their apartment in a single day.

One of our 2023 Start Above Youth Adult Recipients is Emily! Recommended by her social workers at DCF, she lives in an apartment in Worcester with her partner. Emily is a student at Bridgewater State University and is passionate about her job where she works with people with developmental disabilities.

We’re honored to partner with Pelletier Properties - Keller Williams North Central and Joshua Allen Design on this special project.
