As we near the start of summer, many of us begin to crave favorite foods that we associate with the season of fun. For me, one of my fav summertime foods is fried okra! My Nana used to turn out these golden, crispy treats using one of her well-seasoned cast iron skillets.

Get your Southern on and go fry up a mess of okra! Most Local markets sell fresh okra. You can also find it tomorrow, at the Lewisburg Farmers Market. Love Living Local!!!
