Soaking up these last few weeks of summer before the kids head back to school. And what a perfect morning to take a much needed pause and walk among the trees at Milton State Park.

This 82-acre island between Milton and West Milton boroughs offers a variety of activities, including picnicking, field games, walking paths, and access to the river for fishing or dropping in your kayaks or tubes!

It's also a great spot for nature journaling or sketching.

What's your favorite state park?

Kayaking is one of my favorite outdoor activities. There's just something about being on the water that brings instant calm, connection, and freedom. Whether it's a quiet morning paddle or an afternoon adventure with friends, time in a kayak always helps me slow down and soak in the beauty around me 💙

And were so lucky to live in the Susquehanna River Valley, where water access is everywhere - quiet curves of Buffalo or Penns Creek, reflections on Walker or Faylor Lake, or the lazy summer current of the Susquehanna herself.

Every trip is a mini escape. If you're looking for your next summer adventure, grab a paddle and get out there! If you don't have a kayak, don't let that stop you. and will hook you up!

Nature's Palette Unleashed! Regardless of the rain, our local wildflowers are putting on quite the show. From vibrant poppies to delicate daisies, every corner seems alive with color.

Among them, Bachelor Buttons, also known as Cornflowers, are stealing the spotlight with their stunning blue and purple hues. Did you know they got their name during the Victorian era, when bachelors would wear these flowers in their buttonholes to signal their availability?

The petals are edible and have a slightly spicy, clove-like flavor. They are often used as a colorful garnish and can be brewed into tea.

What's blooming where you are? Share a pic of your favorite wildflowers!

The sacred pause. June asks us to slow down, soften, and begin again.

Spending time in nature is my favorite way to reset. And we have so many beautiful outdoor spaces to explore in the Susquehanna Valley.

Last weekend, we grabbed iced coffees and walked the Watsontown Towpath Trail. This 2-mile (out and back) trail parallels the West Branch of the Susquehanna River and serves as a history lesson on the railroad and canal system that used to run through town. We always see turtles and hear bullfrogs near the pond.

Fall in love with where you live this summer - A Summer Invitation ☀️

This summer, we're slowing down. We're walking softer, wandering closer, and seeing the Susquehanna River Valley through fresh eyes.

Over the next 12-weeks, we'll explore the quiet magic of this place - the trails, the coffee shops, the porches, the waterways, the wildflowers, and everything in between. We'll share stories, savor small rituals, and remember what makes this home.

Because sometimes, the most beautiful destination is the one you're already in!

✨️Join us each week as we fall in love with where we live - all over again.

One of the questions I get asked most often by sellers - what can I do to get my home ready to sell or to increase market value?

I'm a strong supporter of low-cost, high impact improvement. Keep it simple by decluttering and deep cleaning! Then, add fresh paint, upgraded fixtures, and energy-efficient appliances.

Also, don't underestimate the power of curb appeal - Spruce up your landscaping or give the exterior a quick power wash!

Trending Tuesday: The latest Home Price Expectations Survey from Fannie Mae is out—and here’s the takeaway:

Experts expect home prices to keep going up, but not as quickly as before.

📍 2025: +3.4%
📍 2026: +3.3%

📌 What this means:

A calmer pace could create more balance between buyers and sellers. For buyers, that may mean fewer bidding wars. For sellers, it’s still a great time to list—just with the right strategy.

The market’s adjusting, not collapsing—and staying informed is everything.

Every local market is different. Reach out to find out what’s happening right here in our area.

Spring has sprung and Beltane is just around the corner 🔥🌸 — the halfway point between the Spring Equinox and the Summer Solstice.

It's a celebration of vitality and creativity—of the Earth (and us) coming into full, lush bloom. 🌿✨

But before we arrive at the fire, there's something else calling for our attention:
Space. Not just space to move through... but space to breathe. To feel. To receive.

If you participated in the "Less Clutter, More Clarity" challenge, you'll remember that we kicked off the month of April by making way for what's next...This week is a portal—a wildly potent time for intentional clearing. Not as a chore, but as a ritual. An invitation to release what has settled or stagnated. To sweep out the heaviness of winter. To throw open the windows (literally and energetically) and say:

I am ready.

Ancient Beltane traditions remind us:
Your home is not just where you live.
It’s an extension of your body.
A mirror of your inner world.🪞
Every room holds a message.

When one part is cluttered, neglected, heavy—it affects the whole.

This week, let clearing be a love letter to yourself.
Make space for what is ready to bloom. 🌸🔥

Are you feeling it, too?
